Bring the colors back

Blumarine Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 collection. The brand that has always gladdened its fans with bright, beautifulprints  showcased the range that was allmonotone.
Blumarine’s Anna Molinari divided her Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 collection into three parts, each included 20 different looks. The first part was all grey and black. I was a bit puzzled and almost believed the show was actually organized by Burberry. Classic trench coats, dressy suits, elegant cropped jackets, stylish high boots – all these reminded me of the iconic British label’s designs.
Blumarine Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 show shocked even more – nearly the same simple silhouettes were made in bold flashy colors – orange, purple, yellow, green, and navy blue. A fancier version of classic style – that was it. Colors were pretty Versace I have to admit.
Blumarine Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 range surprised even more. This time the designer sent her models down the runway in see-through black lace, and then in all the colors that made the second part of the show so special. Dresses and other clothing looked very feminine and sexy.

  1. it took me a while to figure out how i wanted to wear the color block trend but the Zara lookbook opened my eyes. That certainly won't be on entire outfits but maybe a nice pair of colorful chinos (orange/salmon-y kind of shades) and colorful clutches :)
