[NEW] Yamatoten Abura Soba MKG 3

Hi eaters, Yamatoten Abura Soba has opened their 5th outlet at Mall Kelapa Gading 3. For who lives at Kelapa Gading, you don't need to far away to eat this. It's located at Gourmet Walk Ground Floor, thank you for the event Wanderbites.

Soba is the Japanese name from buckwheat , it usually refer to thin noodle. It's really popular in Japan from fast food until expensive restaurant. There is two kind of soba, hot soba and cold soba. Yamatoten brings the soba from Tokyo to Jakarta. They served both chicken and pork menu, you can make your own choice. Congratulation !

Let's talk about the ambience, the interior design is simple and mostly filled by wood. It's quite spacious space, it was fulled by customer and so many waiting list customer in lunch or dinner time. It's better to come early. The service was really good too.

How to eat Abura Soba?
1. Pour two rounds of vinegar
2. Pour two rounds of chili oil
3. Stir the noodle to mix the sauce
4. Enjoy it while it hot

These are the best side dish of Abura Soba, Grilled Corn with Cheese , Edamade and Handmade Dumplings. I really love this grilled corn with cheese, it's really delicious. I got added one portion anyway :) For handmade dumplings, it's really good too. I don't like edamame, but much people love this one.

These are the main course which i tried , they are Abura Soba, Karami Ontama Abura Soba , Umewasabi Abura Soba, Shigure Abura Soba, Shigure Don, Creamy Tarako Abura Soba. Personally, i think the original one is the best. There are 3 new menus here, Creamy Tarako Abura Soba, Shigure Abura Soba, and Amakara Tori Don. Karami Ontama and Shigure are my favorite too. You must try this !

Abura Soba

Price : Rp 59.000 / Rp 63.000

Original abura soba chopped with spring onions, sesame seeds, bamboo shoots, dried seaweed, and slices of tender roast pork or chicken

Karami Ontama Abura Soba

Price : Rp 68.000 / Rp 72.000

Abura soba with spicy miso sauce, served with half boiled egg, chopped spring onions, sesame seeds, bambo shoots, dried seaweed and slice of tender pork or chicken

Umewasabi Abura Soba

Price : Rp 68.000

Abura soba served cold with special plum and wasabi, dried seaweed, fresh tomatoes, crispy dumpling skin and chicken chashu. Please don't add extra vinegar and chili oil.
